The issue:
There's a big gender gap in the restaurant industry. Only 33 percent of restaurants are majority owned by women.
Food delivery service GrubHub wants to bring awareness to that issue throughout the month of March. Their main push for this, it's Women's History Month.
GrubHub crunched the numbers and put together a national list together, totaling more than 23,000 women led restaurants, meaning the owner, co-owner, or chef is a woman. The company is encouraging its customers pay money to these establishments in an initiative is called RestaurantHer.

Press (From Popsugar):
There may be a seemingly endless number of restaurant options on food-delivery apps, but during the month of March, Grubhub is launching something that'll make it a whole lot easier for you to decide — while at the same time, celebrating Women's History Month. To spotlight female chefs and raise money for empowering organizations, Grubhub is introducing an initiative called RestaurantHER. The most interesting feature? A user-generated map of women-led restaurants in the US.
